Legal Status:  Friends of Dr. Mohsin Hospital, Inc., is a non-profit corporation located in Long Island, New York, USA and is registered with the Department of State of the State of New York in the USA. This non-profit corporation has also been granted the Tax-Exemption Status by the IRS (Internal Revenue Services) of the Department of Treasury of the United States of America.

Donors can have the privilege of their Federal Tax Deductions by donating to this non-profit humanitarian and charitable corporation. Donors will be given Tax-Exempt Letters for their donations which are acceptable to the IRS for tax deductions from their annual or quarterly income taxes. If any donation is made online through the website using their credit or debit cards or any other payment methods, a Tax Exemption Letter will automatically be sent to the donor’s email from this website as the receipts of the donations. The tax-exempt letters for donations sent through direct bank deposits and by mails will be sent to their faxes or by regular postal mails to their given fax numbers and street addresses.

It can be mentioned here that 100% of the donations will be used for the programs and services of this non-profit corporation for the outlined purposes of its programs and services as mentioned below except the bank and money transfer fees. There is no other overhead or administrative and/or management cost involved. So, the donors can be assured that their donations will receive the highest attention and will be used to the fullest of its values to the services of the people who need it most through the programs and services as described below.

Mission:  Friends of Dr. Mohsin Hospital, Inc has been working for fund raising for supporting the programs of services and activities of Dr. Mohsin Hospital which has been rendering medical treatment and preventive medical services to the unprivileged disadvantaged poor people, especially the poor mothers and their children at the remote villages in Bangladesh. A small hospital building including a few outdoor clinics are going to be erected and medical services will be provided to the target groups of people who are the unprivileged disadvantaged poor and financially grassroot level people. The services will be provided at a low cost and/or free of cost depending on the financial conditions of the patients and service recipients. The hospital is going to be built on the land donated by Dr. Mohsin Ali in the village named Shikarpur under Gurudaspur Sub-District in Natore District in Bangladesh. The initial plan is to build a 25-bed hospital along with 5 out-door clinics to be set up in different remote, isolated and clustered villages which are usually detached from the main communication corridors and urban facilities.

       disabilities.  

10. Educational campaign for preventing child marriage, dowry-based marriage 

       and domestic violence and abuses, and child labor and school drop-outs.  

11. Disaster relief support to the victims of natural calamities.
